Phase II of the Rotary Pavilion renovation is underway in downtown Rockford and the Rotary Club of Rockford was excited to be able to provide an additional $20,000 to the City of Rockford for the project. Current President Erik Luxhoj and Immediate Past President Jim Tol presented the check to City Manager Thad Beard and Mayor Ed Ross. The Pavilion, at the corner of Courtland and Squires Street, is a favorite outdoor meeting place for visitors to the downtown area. New siding, lighting, insulated interior walls and windows are underway now. |
