Our March/April speaker schedule for the Tuesday noon meeting is as follows:

  •  Tuesday - April 1st - Damon John - Entrepreneur
  •  Tuesday - April 8th - Sue Bodenner - DR Update

Every August we hold a reading festival in Rockford.  The festival promotes literacy in our community and is always a fun time.  We have several people who dress as characters from favorite children's books, and many volunteers read to groups of children. We would love to see you next August!

Our club is one of only two Rotary clubs in the country to win the Pearson Foundation Award. The award was given to us for our  work to promote literacy through the Reading Rocks in Rockford event we host each August.  We are now in the process of distributing the 2000 books we were awarded in our community.  Connect with us on our Reading Rocks in Rockford Facebook page: CLICK HERE.
